🏷 Life’s A Beach Book Tag πŸ·

Tag Tuesday is back, and I am feeling particularly summery since my school year is finally over and I have my vacation to look forward to. When I saw this tag over on Kristin Kraves Books, which was created by The Left Handed Book Lover, I knew I had to do it.

The Sand // A book that stuck with you long after you finished reading

moxie

When I read Moxie, I had no idea it would change me the way it did, it really rocked my world, and even though I read it 5 months ago, it’s still sticking with me.

The Sun // A book that burned you

the cruel prince

I had high expectations for The Cruel Prince and it just let me down.

The Waves // A book that calms you down after a long day

fangirlspecial2

I have reread Fangirl time and time again, and trust me, I will reread it again. It always makes me happy, and I have the ebook of it on my phone, so when things might be a bit gray, I read it.

The Bathing Suit // A book with a pretty, summer-y cover

the unexpected everything

The vibrancy of The Unexpected Everything is exactly what summer means. More colors, the happiness of ice cream, and oh so many dogs.

The Birds // A book that is everywhere

I feel like I see everybody talking about Furyborn and Vicious right now, it’s impossible to escape it.

The Company// A book with wonderful characters

save the date morgan matson

The Grant family from Save the Date is my favorite one yet, they’re such a full cast of characters and they all stick out from one another, they don’t seem to blend together. They’re probably what I loved most about the book.

The Ice-Cold Drinks // A book you absolutely gulped down

eliza and her monsters

When I read Eliza and her Monsters last year, I had to make myself put down the book so that I could savor it. That did not last because the next day I finished it all in one sitting, because it was just that good.

The Fun Memories // A book you can’t wait to return to

autoboyography

One of my favorite reads of the year hands down goes to Autoboyography. I constantly think about it, I loved every single second while I was reading the book, and I can’t wait until I finally decide to reread the book. I can’t yet, it hasn’t been long enough since I’ve read it, so now we just play the waiting game until I cave.

This was my take on the Life’s a Beach book tag, I had so much fun, it definitely put me into an even more summery mood, and if you want to do it, go ahead!Β πŸ€—πŸ€—
