WWW Wednesday: October 24th, 2018

Hey everybody, today I am back with another WWW Wednesday and it’s a bit better than last time, but I am getting 0 reading done, there’s so much going on and I have this huge paper to write during the upcoming vacation next week so I won’t even have time to read, senior year sucks my friends.

BTW, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted over on Taking On A World Of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading: I’m currently reading This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab. It’s very different from A Darker Shade of Magic and I feel like it’s harder to get into the story and also I’m not connecting with it as much as I did with ADSOM. I really like the Kate chapters so far, I’m like 20 pages into the book and I’ve been reading it for a week lmao oops, but I feel like I don’t have that great of an understanding of the world, but I’m still at the beginning, Victoria still has enough time to change my mind!

Recently Finished: I read What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli. I know a lot of people haven’t been liking it, but personally I loved it. I thought it was a great contemporary and it did touch on some very serious topics. Sure, it’s a bit predictable, but I mean with the storyline, it’s kind of obvious what’s going to happen so I don’t know why people are that surprised. Plus, going into the book it’s good to know that it has a fast paced romance, just so you know! 5 stars

Next Read: My next read will shockingly not be Kingdom of Ash. I’m not going to be reading Kingdom of Ash until mid November. I have a German exam coming up on the 14th of November, and I noticed that I am a lot better if I read a German book beforehand, and I would squeeze in Kingdom of Ash beforehand if I could, but I can’t. So, please, please no spoilers.

But what I will be reading next is either A Court of Thorns and Roses, Harry Potter 1 or The Lightning Thief. I have to read these books for my paper, I’m analyzing the main characters and I have 5 days to do all of the reading. Wish me luck, I need it desperately.

Thanks for reading my WWW post, let me know what you’re reading! Bye, 🤗🤗

  1. I’ve been so excited to read This Savage Song but I’ve heard it’s pretty hard to get in to so I’ve been avoiding it for a while haha. Also I loved What If It’s Us too! I’m sad a lot of people aren’t enjoying it but I’m glad to hear you did. Great post😊

  2. Good luck with all the reading you have to do in such a short period of time!

I’m hoping for.. pretty much everyone who can’t dive straight into Kingdom of Ash that we don’t get spoiled. I’ve already threatened people to block and unfollow them should they spoil even one single thing for me. :’)

    1. Thanks! Wow, you take spoilers very seriously, but honestly I agree, I can’t deal with them. Especially for this series, I’ve been waiting so long I need to find out everything for myself. I wish us both luck!🤗🤗

  3. Hi! I definitely need to read This Savage Song but I’ve also heard so many people say that it’s hard to get into it that I’ve just been pushing it off. And I really need to read a book from Adam Silvera since everyone is saying that his books are so good! Personally I am reading Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse (and it’s so good) and re-reading City Of Ashes from Cassandra Clare (because I’m obsessed with The Mortal Instruments). Anyway, I hope you will pass your exams (plus, it’s amazing that you have to read Harry Potter or Percy Jackson for school!) and that you’re feeling okay! Bye 🙂

    1. In retrospect, It would have been better going into the book knowing it’s hard to get into so I agree with this. I haven’t read any other Adam books but after what if it’s us I’m really looking forward to it 🤗🤗 have fun with your reads!
